Vinitaly is the biggest wine expo in the world. Thousands of producers from all 20 regions of Italy proudly showcase their best wines here every year. The event is held in Verona, the heart of Valpolicella, in the wine region of Veneto.

For those of you wine lovers, this is an experience not to be missed.

This year Antonio has prepared the following package so that you can join him in this world-renowned event.

Included

  • 7 days, 6 nights in hotel
  • Three-day pass to Vinitaly
  • Three mornings with Antonio at Vinitaly learning and exploring. We will lead you through the hundreds of wineries and appellations. The afternoons are free for you to continue enjoying the experience on your own.
  • An afternoon visit to a winery
  • All transfers to and from the airport and the show every day.
  • All breakfast and dinners, wine included

Not included: air fare, travel, cancellation and medical insurance, lunches

Program

  • Day 1 - Participants meet at Milano Linate airport, arrivals terminal. Transfer to your hotel where Antonio will welcome you and introduce the upcoming events and what to expect from this incredible experience.
  • Day 2, 3, 4 - After our hearty buffet breakfast at the hotel we depart for a full immersion at the Vinitaly. Spend the morning with Antonio to taste the best, the usual and the ... unusual! The afternoon you are on your own to explore. The show is open from 9:30 am to 6 pm. International visitor pass, transfers from/to hotel and dinners for these three days are included. 
  • Day 5 and 6 - In these two days we will visit a winery, spend some leisure/shopping time in Verona and participate in a gourmet food tour.
  • Day 7 - Check out and transfer to Milano Linate airport.

Extension package, 3 days

Add three more days to visit the wine regions of Veneto, explore some of its best wineries and enjoy the local cuisine!

  • Day 7 - After our deserved "cappuccino e cornetto" we are on our way to discover the Valpolicella region and its legendary Amarone. A full day is spent in one of the most important wine regions in the world. We learn about, taste and discuss Ripasso, Amarone and Recioto with Antonio and his favourite local producers. "Hands-on" opportunities to learn about food pairing await!
  • Day 8 - We continue our journey of wine learning and exploration by heading towards the wine towns of Soave and Gambellara. The garganega and trebbiano vines in this area give birth to unique wines such as the Recioto di Soave and Recioto di Gambellara, the white versions of the Recioto produced in Valpolicella. 
  • Day 9 - In the morning we'll have a short bus ride to the towns of Valdobbiadene and Conegliano in the heart of Prosecco, ending the day at Villa Maser, a Palladian villa and historical winery and a World Heritage site designated by UNESCO.
  • Day 10 - Check out and transfer to Milano Linate airport.

$2,290 per person. This includes 3 more hotel nights with breakfast, 3 lunches, 1 "arrivederci" final dinner, private transportation and all the excursions as listed above with Antonio as your tour leader.
